Leader and Instructors

We are proud to introduce the leaders of the Many Haha's Laughter Yoga Club. Each club session may have one, two or all leaders participating.

Dawn Werner

Dawn Werner was introduced to Laughter Yoga by a friend with the words "I think you're going to love this."

A year later (September 2007) found her in Miami Beach Fla studying with Dr. Madan and Mrs. Madhuri Kataria to become a Certified Laughter Yoga Teacher.

Dawn is the founder of the Many Haha’s Laughter Yoga Club. In addition, she has introduced Laughter Yoga at professional conferences, schools, senior centers, and recreation programs for people with all abilities.

She has taught several people to be Certified Laughter Yoga Leaders in Maine and New York.

And yes, it's safe to say, she loves laughter yoga. Thanks Emily!

Craig Werner

Craig Werner started laughing shortly after he was born and finds many opportunities to laugh every day. A retired professor of English specializing in children's literature, he tries to live the child within him whenever appropriate and sometimes whenever inappropriate. A Certified Laughter Yoga Leader since 2012, he enjoys laughter yoga with anyone with a mind to be joyful. He is a proud and energetic founding member of the Many Haha's Laughter Yoga Club of Buffalo.

Barb Protas

Barb had her first laughter yoga experience in 2008 and hasn't stopped laughing since. Hearing about the health benefits of laughing she became a regular and experienced these benefits firsthand.

Becoming a LY leader was a natural progression and she has enjoyed seeing people rediscover their inner child and releasing that child from the responsibilities of being an adult for even a short period of time.

She encourages others to give themselves permission to be silly and happy. Child-like play, yogic breathing and laughter. Everyone needs it. Everyone deserves it.

Don Dehoff

Don was first introduced to the Many HaHa's Laughter Yoga Club by his friend Jim Kargen back in December of 2010. Jim read an article in the New Yorker magazine about Laughter Yoga and searched it, finding the Many HaHa's Laughter Yoga Club. In January of 2011 Don introcuced both of his daughters to Laughter Yoga. His wife Chris will occasionally attend the Laughter Yoga sessions.

Dawn Werner trained Don, and on April of 2012 Don became a Certified Laughter Yoga Leader. Don also attended the Canada Laughter Yoga Conference in November of 2013.

Besides trying to never miss a Many HaHa's Laughter Yoga Club gathering, he also leads a Laughter Yoga class at the Independent Health Family Branch YMCA in Williamsville once a month.

Don also enjoys going to different organizations and functions, and introducing Laughter Yoga with his co-leaders and teacher.
