What's needed for Laughter Yoga?

 

First and foremost a willingness to laugh!  Giggles, gaffaws, smiles, snickers, laughter bursts, belly laughs  are all welcome and a necessary part of laughter yoga.

 

A willingness to enjoy.

 

Water. Bring a bottle of water and be prepared to drink it.

 

Not needed:  special clothing, special equipment, a sense of humor, an ability to tell jokes or do comedy. But, do wear comfortable clothing and a sense of humor is appreciated.

 

Laughter yoga positions can be standing, sitting, lying on the ground. At Many Haha's we use standing and sitting to go through the exercises.

 

 

 

 

 

A typical session at Many Haha's :

Welcome.

Warmup with simple stretching and chanting.

First pranayama

Expressing satisfaction/joy

 

Laughter exercise

Chanting and stretching

Laughter exercise

Pranayama

Repeat for approximately 35 minutes.
